Six Koreans and one Japanese spouse who boarded the Diamond Princess anchored at Yokohama Port, Japan, boarded a presidential plane (Air Force No. 3) at Tokyo Haneda Airport at dawn early today (19) to travel to Korea.

Earlier today, they disembarked at Diamond Princess, where a new outbreak of the new coronavirus (Corona 19) outbreak occurred around 0:20 am today.

At the scene, Consul-General Yoon Yokohama and Consul-General of the Korean Embassy Kim Ji-hee welcomed the returnees who were tired of the quarantine.

They then moved to Haneda Airport by bus prepared by the Korean Embassy in Japan.

The presidential plane took off from Seoul Airport yesterday at noon, landed at 2:50 pm at Haneda Airport, and was waiting to pick up returnees.

The presidential plane will take off at dawn on April 19 and will arrive at Gimpo Airport after a three to four hour flight.

There were 14 Koreans on board at Diamond Princess.

Eight Korean passengers who do not return to the presidential plane will be disembarked on the 19th to 21st if they receive a negative voice on the Corona19 test.
