EU Foreign Ministers, meeting today in Brussels, have agreed to launch a new naval mission that controls the arms embargo on Libya.

The UN has reported up to 150 violations of the arms blockade in the North African country, many of them across the border with Egypt. These violations jeopardize the maintenance of the truce agreed a month ago in Berlin.
