This came during a meeting between the Minister of Health and Population, today, Monday, from inside the quarantine in Marsa Matruh, with the returnees from the Chinese city of Wuhan after the end of the quarantine period and reassurance about them, and to ensure that they are free of any contagious viruses, and return to their homes.
The Minister of Health and Population thanked the medical team, the administrative staff, the flight crew, and the Passports Department of the Ministry of Interior and the Armed Forces for their efforts in the quarantine operation, praising the solidarity and circumvention of all the state apparatus to preserve its children.
The Minister of Health and Population pointed out that all the 450 medical teams were trained at the highest level in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization in this regard.
The Minister of Health expressed her pride in what the children of the Ministry of Health and Population presented to the 302 individuals returning from Wuhan, explaining that all medical and administrative teams participated in this national epic of their own free will and desire to serve the nation, and they will be honored and perpetuated by a memorial mural in one of the The Ministry's educational health facilities said to them, "You gave the world a lesson in how to deal with major events and you were up to the point."
The Minister of Health and Population said that the men of quarantine in all outlets of the country are fully alert and prepared throughout the 24 hours, to follow up on travelers and arrivals, pointing to activating the program for following up from abroad with all air, land and sea ports, where the data of returnees is sent to the directorates residing after taking All preventive and preventive measures and quarantine examination.
It stated that the quarantine clinics signed the medical examination and provided treatment for 1121 visitors, and 13 cases were transferred to receive the super medical service at the evacuation hospital during the quarantine period.
She pointed out that 9 buses were allocated to transport the returnees to their homes, based on a survey of their views of the places they want to reach, as 6 buses were allocated to Cairo Governorate, and 3 to Alexandria Governorate, and 3 ambulances equipped to transport pregnant women were accompanied with a doctor to Their homes.
The Minister of Health and Population also offered some guidance to the children in quarantine, and took memorial photos with the returnees from the Chinese city of Wuhan and medical and administrative teams.
For their part, the returnees from the Chinese city of Wuhan praised the medical and non-medical services they enjoyed during their stay in the quarantine, expressing their pride in their Egyptian and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi’s keenness to return to their country in fear for them, and the returnees also praised the spirit of cooperation that they touched on the medical team during a period Isolating them, confirming that all the medical teams were appointed to watch over their service and did not spare any effort for their comfort and providing them with the best medical service.
