At least 24 people have been killed in an attack on a Protestant church in the village of Pansi in the Yaga province of northern Burkina Faso. Another 18 people have been injured and others have been kidnapped, according to the governor of the area. The pastor should be among the victims.
The attackers are described as "armed terrorists".
