More than 24 hours after her disappearance, Sarah returned home "safe and sound", in the Toulouse district of Bellefontaine. The Haute-Garonne national police announced on Monday morning that the search for this 12-year-old girl had ended.

The runaway was spotted on Sunday evening, around 11 p.m., in the metro by two young girls who recognized her thanks to the call for witnesses broadcast by the police on social networks. They had the good reflex to contact the investigators, contributing to the happy outcome of this case.

The teenager had left the family home on Saturday, around 4 p.m., without a jacket, ID, money or telephone, hence the legitimate concern of her relatives who had alerted the police.
