He said this in an article in the party publication of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Communist Party "Tsushi".

“After the outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan, on January 7, when I chaired a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, I put forward demands for work to prevent and control the spread of pneumonia caused by a new type of coronavirus,” wrote Xi Jinping.

He also emphasized that on January 20 he gave special instructions to combat the outbreak of the disease.

Xi Jinping added that on January 22, he ordered directly to Hubei Province the urgent need to introduce comprehensive and strict control over the departure of people.

Earlier, Xi Jinping said that the country's authorities at all levels should take care of doctors.
