Victoria Beckham operated what she calls "gentle revolution" at London Fashion Week on Sunday, with a sophisticated but portable collection.

"I wanted to explore how to pay homage to tradition while challenging convention. Being subversive but also sophisticated," explains Victoria Beckham in her collection notes. This game with codes, "this is what I call my sweet revolution".

"The prevailing feeling is that we don't have to follow rules. We can follow our instincts," she said.

Fluid black dresses worn with platform boots that would not have been denied by his former Spice Girls companions, culottes in small checks enlivened by a yellow sweater, turtleneck sweater dress with diamonds cut in the sleeves: for his fall collection / winter 2020/21, the designer explains that she "thought about the tension between refinement and rebellion".

"I was inspired by different ideas of women - different characters, different times and different attitudes - but without restrictions," she says in her collection notes.

The models paraded on reflective floor in the magnificent Banquet House, located in the Whitehall district. Above them, imposing chandeliers and a ceiling painted by Rubens installed in 1636.

The designer stealthily came to greet the audience at the end of the parade, dressed in a white silk blouse and high-waisted black pants.

Her family was in the front row to support her, her husband former international footballer David Beckham carrying his daughter Harper on his lap, surrounded by his sons Romeo and Cruz and high fashion priestess Anna Wintour. Only their eldest son, Brooklyn, was absent.

After years in New York, the ex-Spice Girl returned to her native country in 2018 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of her brand with a parade organized for the first time in the British capital.

She has since launched into cosmetics with Victoria Beckham beauty.

For this line of beauty products, the former "Posh Spice" has teamed up with Sarah Creal, former executive of Estée Lauder, whom she had met in 2016 during a makeup collection launched with Estee Lauder.
