“As part of the implementation of the international Open Skies Treaty, a Russian team of inspectors plans to conduct an observation flight on a Russian An-30B observation aircraft over the territory of the Hellenic Republic,” Ryzhkov said.

According to him, the United States, Estonia and Lithuania, in turn, will fly from the Kubinka airfield over the territory of groups of participating states - Belarus and Russia - on a Swedish observation aircraft SAAB-340.

As it is specified, during the flight along an agreed route, specialists from Russia on board the observation aircraft will monitor strict compliance with the agreed flight parameters and the use of observation equipment provided for in the agreement.

Earlier, Ryzhkov said that under the International Treaty on Open Skies, the joint mission of the United States and Ukraine will conduct an observation flight over Russian territory from February 10 to 14.
