The criminal court in Dubai sentenced visitors of the nationality of an Arab country to three years in prison, deportation and a fine of 23,000 dirhams, for the first suspect to steal a bag of a Gulf female master’s student after he offered her help in placing her bags inside a bus bound for Al Ain from the Al Ghubaiba station in Dubai, and he managed to penetrate Her phone, because it was secured with an easy password, and conveyed pictures and personal videos to her and her friends, and published it between her relatives and acquaintances registered on her phone, with the help of the second accused.

The Public Prosecution directed the defendants to commit a felony threat by publishing videos and pictures if you did not pay them 3000 dirhams, and assaulting its privacy by transferring these materials to other people.

The Public Prosecution also accused the first accused of stealing a sports handbag belonging to the student, containing her phone and a gold earring and other purposes.

The victim (28 years old) said that she was at the Al Ghubaiba bus station heading to Al Ain, with a large travel bag and a heavy medium handbag, and she wanted to put them on the bus, so the first suspect came to her, offered her help, and left the two bags to put them in The assigned place, then I went to the phone card charger, which is about three meters away from the bus, and it took one minute, and when I was surprised, the accused stood in front of her in a way that raised her tension, and told her that he put the bags, did not confirm his words because of her confusion, and I got onto the bus.

She added that, after her arrival, she was surprised by the disappearance of the handbag, so she asked the bus driver about the first suspect, and he told her that he did not ride the bus, so she immediately informed the police, but the matter was not limited to theft, if the accused was able to open her phone, because of an easy password.

She indicated that she had received a text message from one of her friends, stating that an unknown had contacted her by phone, and told her that a person had sold it to the victim's phone, and asked her not to inform the police, so as not to be affected by the videos on the phone.

The student explained that she had contacted the caller (the second accused), and told her that he keeps her father's number and does not want to call him, as he spoke about another friend who will be affected a lot of videos, pointing out that she recorded the call that proves the theft of her phone, and the leak of its contents.

She explained that the second defendant phoned her again, two days later, and threatened to discredit her, and sent her video clips of her and her friends while they were in a women's party, but went further than that, and sent videos to a Gulf person with whom he had a superficial knowledge, and the latter informed her of that, then these videos started To spread in the vicinity of her relatives, and the accused threatened her with posting it on social media if she did not pay him 3000 dirhams, as he seized on her account on Twitter, and published pornographic pictures of him, and realized that the accused entered the account via the stolen phone.

She continued that she did not bear these pressures, and she informed the investigators of everything that happened, and she received from the accused a phone call that blackmails her while sitting with two Dubai police, and asked her for 3000 dirhams, so she agreed to his request in order with them.

The victim indicated that the Dubai police arrested the two suspects, but the nightmare did not end there, as her friend received a text message containing an unknown threat using a phone number returning to the country of the accused, and asked her to inform the student to waive the case against the accused, otherwise he will continue to discredit her .

A witness from Dubai Police said that the work team in the incident managed to lure the second suspect, after arranging with the student, and arrested him near Al Rigga Metro Station, and he admitted that he is just a mediator in the process run by the visitor (the first accused), who was monitoring the situation from afar, and fled Once the second suspect was arrested, he was circulated until he was arrested later.

The witness added that the second accused confessed that the first was the one who stole the phone, and was able to open it because of the ease of the password, access to data and photos, and then instructed him to threaten the victim.

The first defendant mentioned that he had helped the victim put the bags on the bus, then discovered that she forgot her handbag, and found items inside, including a mobile phone, so the second defendant took it from him and opened it and entered photos and videos, and applied the WhatsApp, and contacted with her close friend, and asked Including him connected to the victim, and began threatening her and publishing the clips that belong to her and her friends.
