After the disclosure of intimate videos, which led to the abandonment of Benjamin Griveaux in the race for mayor of Paris, the Paris prosecutor's office opened an investigation on Saturday for breach of privacy. Benjamin Griveaux actually decided to file a complaint, as had been announced by his lawyer. Piotr Pavlenski, who claims to have broadcast the intimate videos of the ex-candidate LREM, was therefore arrested in Paris with his partner.

The couple allegedly trapped Benjamin Griveaux
The couple was arrested Saturday afternoon at the exit of a hotel in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. They are suspected of having trapped the former government spokesperson. She, a 29-year-old Frenchwoman, is suspected of having been the recipient of the intimate videos of the former candidate for mayor of Paris. Videos which she then transmitted to her companion Piotr Pavlenski.
The Russian artist himself claimed to have disseminated these images online to reveal the "hypocrisy" of Benjamin Griveaux who had campaigned by promoting traditional family values. The young woman is currently heard by the police by the brigade for the suppression of delinquency against the person in charge of the investigation.

Piotr Pavlenski, he will answer the investigators' questions later. Indeed, the Russian artist is in custody in another file. He had been wanted since New Year's Eve for willful violence with a weapon.
