Zelensky intends to complete the conflict in the Donbass during the presidency

“If during these five years we can end the war, to be honest, I’m sure of this, between us, but if we can, we will return our territories and people, I did it for good reason,” he said.

Also, the Ukrainian president proposed to carry out the withdrawal of troops in the Donbass sector.

“When a challenge takes place in turn in each sector of the front line after verification of each sector of the OSCE SMM,” he explained.

At the same time, during his speech, he said that Kiev wants peace in the Donbass "on its own terms."

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin during a telephone conversation with Zelensky directly raised the question of whether Ukraine intends to actually implement the Minsk agreements to resolve the intra-Ukrainian conflict.
