It is noted that the parties discussed a number of topics on the bilateral agenda with an emphasis on upcoming contacts at the highest level, as well as the preparations for the next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Russia, India and China.

A traditionally confidential exchange of views on the most pressing international problems also took place.

“The conversation once again demonstrated a high degree of agreement between the assessments and approaches of Moscow and Beijing, which ensures the effectiveness of Russian-Chinese foreign policy interaction, which plays a constructive role in creating a more just and stable polycentric world order,” the Foreign Ministry added.

In September, Wang Yi announced the intention of the Chinese side to develop relations with Russia in all areas.
