This is stated in a message published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
It is noted that the parties discussed the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as around the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan on the Iranian Nuclear Program.
Also during the meeting, individual issues of relations between Russia and the EU were touched upon.
Earlier, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that the EU needs to improve relations with Russia.
