Benjamin Griveaux lodged a complaint this Saturday afternoon in the premises of the regional directorate of the judicial police for "invasion of privacy." Following this complaint, the Paris public prosecutor's office seized an investigation into the brigade for the suppression of crime against the person.
A site had released an intimate video and connoted messages addressed to a woman on Wednesday evening, claiming that they were from the former government spokesperson. Direct consequence: the candidate threw in the towel this Friday morning, the day after the presentation of his project for the capital and one month from the first round.
The complaint was lodged at the premises of the regional directorate of the judicial police and the investigations were entrusted to the Brigade for the Suppression of Delinquency in the Person (BRDP). On LCI, Benjamin Griveaux's lawyer, Richard Malka, clarified that the complaint had been filed against X.
