At the talks with Lavrov, Borrel confirmed the course towards maintaining the JCPOA.

“As a coordinator, I remain committed to listening to all parties and preserving the nuclear deal,” Borrel said.

It was previously reported that Lavrov had a meeting with Borrel on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

It was noted that the parties discussed the situation in the Middle East, North Africa, as well as around the JCPOA.
