The municipal campaign permanence of Edouard Philippe in Le Havre was tagged and covered with CGT leaflets during the night of Thursday to Friday, we learned from a source close to the candidate.

"Between smeared country premises and disturbed community council, it is obvious that some do not know the definition of democracy #CGT", "absolute condemnation of these acts", tweeted the deputy (Act) Agnès Firmin Le Bodo, while the last community council of the mandate took place on Thursday.

On the photos of the permanence tweeted by the elected representative of Seine-maritime, who was present on January 31 in Le Havre at the campaign launch meeting of Edouard Philippe, we can read in capital letters "Clearance Doudou, Le Havre is ours ". The permanence window was covered with leaflets against pension reform and CGT stickers, according to these photos.

"We can only condemn and regret this kind of behavior ... and our volunteers are cleaning up this morning," commented a source close to the organization of Edouard Philippe's campaign.

The Prime Minister excluded from LR ruled the Norman city from 2010 to his accession to Matignon in 2017.

Mobilization against pension reform is particularly strong in Le Havre, a former communist stronghold.
