The State Duma adopted a law on uniform cash payments to conscripts

The explanatory note to the document states that “the draft law is envisaged to be extended to conscripts in the Armed Forces of Russia from January 1, 2019, and in respect of conscripts to other federal executive bodies (federal state bodies) from January 1, 2020 of the year".

In November 2019, the Russian government approved a bill to be submitted to the State Duma.

It was noted that this decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on November 14 on the basis of the positive results of the experiment to unify the monetary allowance of conscripts, conducted from 2012 to 2018 by order of the President and the Russian Ministry of Defense.
