Liam, 18, was on his way home from work when he was assaulted by two 16-year-old boys.

- First I get beaten, then one of the guys chooses to urinate on me while he is filming this, Liam, who is really called something else, has previously told SVT News.

SVT Nyheter's reporter Diamant Salihu has met one of the accused boys' parents in a suburb of Stockholm.

- I never thought my son would do such a thing. Never ever. I cannot express how sorry I am for this, says the mother and continues:

- We are completely annihilated. I would not accept any other child doing this to my son.

"Nothing is missing from him"

The parents came to Sweden six years ago. Both work part-time and the economy is good according to the parents. The son gets what he needs.

- My son gets branded mobile and branded clothes so that he does not look at other people's things. He has monthly money and when he needs more money I or his mom swish. Nothing is missing from him, says the father.

According to the parents, the 16-year-old has previously been well-behaved but in recent times the anxiety has grown as he has had a high school absence and spent time in criminal circles.

As parents, what responsibility do you have for this to happen?

- He is our son and our responsibility. But he was a child, a teenager. He is so sorry for what he has done. We, too, are so ashamed, the father replies.

The 16-year-old has now, with the parents' permission, been taken care of according to the law on the care of young people.

"Regret"

The other 16-year-old who is suspected of robbery also regrets, according to relatives.

- No parent in the world wants their children to do something like this and come home as if nothing has happened. We parents do not know what they do when they are out, no matter how good advice we give them.
