His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai received yesterday afternoon in Dubai, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, who came to greet His Highness on the occasion of assuming his new position, as Secretary-General of the Council.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed Dr. Al-Hajraf, wishing him success and payment in performing his duties, and working hard and sincerely for the benefit and benefit of all Member States and their peoples combined.

During his engagement and Secretary-General of the Council, the parties to the conversation emphasized the keenness of the leaderships of member states to support and enhance the process of the Cooperation Council at various levels, and in various fields, through the implementation of the decisions issued by their previous summits.

For his part, Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf expressed his pride in taking up his new position, in order to be able to serve the GCC states, their peoples and their highest interests, and to translate the directives of the leaders of the Member States into actions.
