A serious traffic accident occurred early this Tuesday morning on the ring road of Fougères at the level of the town of Lécousse (Ille-et-Vilaine), we learned from the firefighters. For some reason still unknown, a car and a heavy vehicle collided at around 6:15 am near a speed camera installed on the road.
The shock was very violent. In cardiopulmonary arrest on arrival of the emergency services, the driver of the vehicle, a young man aged 22, died shortly after. Slightly injured, the 25-year-old truck driver was transported to hospital. As a result of this accident, traffic is currently cut in both directions on the RN12.
