According to the agency, "the proportion of influenza viruses in the landscape of circulating respiratory viruses continues to increase, while influenza B prevails in the structure of influenza viruses."

As it is specified, “the excess of weekly epidemic thresholds among the population as a whole was noted in 37 subjects of Russia, as well as in 9 central cities of subjects of Russia (without exceeding the epidemic threshold in the subject of Russia).”

The Rospotrebnadzor added that in preparation for the upcoming epidemic increase in the incidence of influenza and SARS, more than 73.95 million people were vaccinated in the country, which is 50.5% of the population).
