“An exchange of views took place on the course of the discussion in the UN Security Council of draft resolutions on the settlement of the armed conflict in Libya, taking into account the results of the January 19 meeting in Berlin. The international conference on Libya, as well as the first meeting of the 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee held in Geneva under UN auspices, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
It is noted that Russia has confirmed the need to promote the formation of agreement between the Libyan parties.
Earlier, Heiko Maas said that the first meeting of the commission to monitor the implementation of the decisions of the Berlin Conference on Libya will be held in Munich on February 16.
