United Russia introduced amendments to the State Duma that relate to the use of maternity capital funds. They were developed in accordance with the instructions of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, voiced in a message to the Federal Assembly, ”the statement said.
It is specified that the capital in the amount of 466 thousand 617 rubles will be given to families in which the first child was born or adopted on January 1, 2020.
Maternity capital in the amount of 616 thousand 617 rubles is relied on for the second child.
The decision to issue a certificate of maternity capital will be made within 15 days from the date of application.
“It is important to ensure that the president’s proposals work as soon as possible in practice and begin to help families. Expanding the program of maternal capital, the possibilities of its application is our absolute priority, ”said Andrei Turchak, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia.
In January, Putin instructed the government to reduce the time for considering citizens' applications for disposing of maternity capital funds.
