February 9, 2020 A star of David was traced in Turin on the doorstep of Marcello Segre, president of the Italian Association 'Heart and resuscitation Lorenzo Greco onlus'. The house is in a building in the Cit Turin district and the word 'Jude' has also been traced in addition to the star. Digos has started investigations. "Regret for gestures that debase the value of a civil community like the Piedmont one, which has always been inclusive and far from anti-Semitic drifts," commented Segre.

Already the third case
With this, similar incidents in Turin have risen to three in the last two weeks. On January 27, in the entrance hall of the building where Maria Bigliani lives, daughter of a partisan relay race, the inscription 'Jewish dirty crack' appeared. On 30 January, in the Vanghiglia district, on the bell of an activist from the ANPI, daughter of a partisan, sticky notes were affixed with the words "Sieg Heil Rauss Guth" flanked by a Celtic cross.

Who is Segre
Marcello Segre, the Turinese who today found his home door smeared with the Star of David and the word 'Juve', with the Piedmont Heart association - of which he is president - has been fighting for years to spread the use of these medical devices. Over the years, the projects that have been started by the non-profit organization, from courses in schools to the positioning of defibrillators at various points in Turin and other Municipalities, are not counted. The first in chronological order was delivered in 2014 to a public swimming pool in the Piedmontese capital. On January 30, thanks to a device donated by the association in 2016 and to the lessons that had been provided to school staff, at the Giordano Bruno high school it was possible to promptly rescue a 21-year-old who had lost consciousness in the class: cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the positioning of the plates saved his life. The Piedmont Heart association is named after Lorenzo Greco, a twelve year old who died in 2014.

Hanger: unacceptable episode
"Another unacceptable episode of anti-Semitism. We will continue to denounce and take sides. I send the embrace of the whole community to Marcello". This is what the mayor Chiara Appendino writes on social media about the writing on Segre's door.

Le Sardine: Marcello one of us, stop hate
"It has happened again and it has happened in the city of Turin. It has happened again and this time to Marcello, a Sardina, a person who has fought alongside us every day for the past 3 months, offering himself with passion and energy. That is his front door, he found it this morning, while he was going out to face any day. " So the national Sardines on the case of the anti-Semitic inscription on the Segre gate. "But it is not an ordinary day and we cannot accept all of this. We are close to Marcello and we are sure that this episode will strengthen him even more in his ideals of solidarity and peace. We have one more reason to find ourselves all together for a hug. symbolic that our NO to all kinds of hatred and discrimination will cry out loud and loud ".
