Dozens of human rights activists, sheikhs, and preachers remain in Saudi prisons, most of whom have been arrested since 2017, and according to human rights information, many of them have faced serious violations, including torture, to get them to confess to crimes they did not commit or to abandon their critical positions of the authorities.
