They stressed the importance of creating a private online platform for the private sector, which the job seeker can know the status of his request, noting that the majority of the jobs offered are not being seriously offered by companies.

While the head of the Human Resources Department in Sharjah, Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, confirmed to «Emirates Today» that the department seeks to create jobs for all citizens through employment fairs or through direct communication with departments and institutions to know their vacancies, indicating that all jobs offered in employment fairs are serious , And the department is constantly monitoring the employment of citizens.

He added that a diligent citizen who developed his abilities would have the preference to fill the vacant position, pointing out that the Sharjah government adopted free training for citizens to qualify them for the labor market, and has special programs in this regard.

In turn, Director General of the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies Jamal Ahmed Al Jasmi stressed that the institute adopts several initiatives aimed at attracting citizens to work in the banking and insurance sectors, noting that the new targets for Emiratization in the private sector, especially in the banking and insurance sectors, reflect the Institute's commitment to human resource development and localization Jobs.

He pointed out that there is a tendency to raise the rates of Emiratization in the banking and insurance sector, which is characterized by various job opportunities, and its ability to create more jobs for citizens, indicating that the number of citizens in the sector is 9418 citizens and citizens working in banks and financial institutions in the state.

While the job seeker of the citizen Mohamed Al-Zarouni said that the companies participating in exhibitions give priority to the old graduates, in addition to the inefficiency of recruitment procedures, such as failure to follow up the job application with the applicant, whether by letter or call, indicating the need for a mechanism by those in charge of employment exhibitions The private companies participating in it must state the reason for accepting or rejecting the citizen in the offered job.

He added that weak wages and benefits are among the most important elements for the reluctance of citizens to apply for private sector jobs.

In turn, female citizen Maitha Al Shamsi, who has been searching for work for years, demanded the necessity of creating an electronic platform that clarifies the status of their application and the reason for acceptance or rejection, pointing out that the platform makes the job seeker know whether it is acceptable or rejected without causing embarrassment to the company or the citizen.

She pointed out that the job search journey is exhausting and long, pointing out that the majority of companies and entities that participate in exhibitions are not serious about offering them jobs, because their privileges are not consistent with the aspirations of the citizen and his basic requirements.

Citizen Hamdan Rashid said that private companies should put in place a clear and transparent mechanism regarding the employment of citizens, that the applicant should respond to the job during a specific period, explain acceptance or rejection, and give clear privileges before applying for the job.
