Three closed schools

"We made the decision to close three schools: that of Contamines, of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, and the Montessori school of Thonon-les-Bains where the child went for a few hours. We have a few children under supervision as well as teachers because they had close contact with the confirmed positive child ", specifies Jérôme Salomon, director general of health

A Briton returning from Singapore had transmitted the coronavirus to four adults and a child around him during a stay at the ski resort. Six other members of the group were also hospitalized as a precaution. These case confirmations bring the total number of infected people in France to 11.

"All are stable except the Chinese tourist still in intensive care," said the minister on Sunday. Saturday, the director general of Health had indicated that this 80 year old patient hospitalized in Paris was "in critical condition".
