According to him, they were launched from militant-controlled territory of the Idlib de-escalation zone.
“The rocket fire of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon system, the first attack - from the north-east direction - is reflected at a distance of about 2 km from the base,” he added.
As Borenkov pointed out, during the second attack, a target approaching the air base was hit at a distance of 6 km from the air base.
No injuries or material damage.
On February 3, the Ministry of Defense reported that the "Shell" was shot down by an unidentified small drone flying to the Hmeimim air base from the Mediterranean Sea.
