A couple in Palencia arrested for throwing their newborn child into the river

The National Police arrested a couple, a 23-year-old woman and a 29- year-old man , for the death of their newborn son, who, according to their own statement, they threw into the Carrión River in a place in the Palencia municipality of Husillos .

As reported by the National Police in a statement, the newborn was located at the place where they indicated, at the bottom of the river, after an intense search on Sunday night.
