The Ciara storm moves across the Atlantic and reaches us on Sunday. The winds culminate on Sunday evening and night into Monday, and it is mainly the southernmost landscapes that are affected. As it seems now, there is a risk of power outages and delays in train traffic, branches breaking, roof tiles rolling down and the like. Heavy rain and winds are coming along, and there may be as much rain in Västra Götaland as it normally will throughout the month.

Before Ciara reaches us, Britain is hit by storm or hurricane villages. At the beginning of next week, the strong wind band pulls down, among others, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
