I wanted to hear one shot and two shots followed by the sound of the machine gun.

Surprised people pour out of the mall.

Around 8 pm yesterday (8th day), a soldier fired at a large shopping mall in Nakhon Ratchasima city in northeastern Thailand.

27 people including shoppers were killed and 57 people were injured.

[Giratanasak / Shoppers at the time: I was scared. I heard a gunshot periodically, but it was so close that I was afraid that the killer was coming to my hiding place.]

The killer was taken hostage by eight hostages and was killed 15 hours later this morning.

The gunman was a 32-year-old deputy who was serving in a nearby military unit, killing three people, including commanding troops, seizing firearms and ammunition, and moving to shopping.

Personal complaints about home sales have been found to be motivating.

The killer even relayed the situation to Facebook at the time of the shooting, but Facebook deleted the account.
The local embassy said there were eight Koreans in the mall at the time of the incident, but they all evacuated safely.
