Homophobic aggression in Barcelona to the shout of "fucking fags"

The Observatory against Homophobia (OCH) has denounced this Sunday a new homophobic aggression against two men in the Gràcia neighborhood of Barcelona , one of whom received a punch in the lip and required medical attention.

The events occurred around six o'clock on Saturday morning, when a group of five young people began to raise two gay people to the shout of "fucking fags" and subsequently punched one of them.

The OCH has informed the Barcelona City Council of this aggression and will record this incident.

In a statement, the OCH also denounces that "the pattern" of aggression against people of the LGTBI collective is repeated again, as well as "impunity" to these events when, he adds, "forcefulness" is required to act against this scourge.
