Sold, sold! A Bugatti type 55 roadster from 1931 bodied by Figoni was sold for a pretty sum of 4.6 million euros this week in Paris. Or the record of the auction organized by the Bonhams house at the Grand Palais, last Wednesday and Thursday.

The racing car was driven by Guy Bouriat and Louis Chiron at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1931 and belonged to the British Geoffrey St John for fifty-five years, according to the Latest News from Alsace .
