08 February 2020 The lawyer Marcello Gentili, a historic Milanese lawyer, died in Milan at the age of 90,
protagonist of many relevant trials, including that for the massacre in Piazza Fontana, for the death of the anarchist Giuseppe Pinelli, and the one that saw the former leader of Lotta Continua Adriano Sofri accused of the murder of Commissioner Luigi Calabresi.

He represented the family members of the victims of the Fosse Ardeatine and the Italian desaparecidos in Argentina and Chile.

In addition to his legal activity, Gentili was known for his civil commitment and his activity as a figurative artist.
