He added that the number of Dubai Metro users, with its red and green lines, reached 202.98 million passengers in 2019, and Burjuman and Etihad stations, which are joint stations on the red and green lines, took the largest share in the number of Dubai Metro passengers last year, as the number of passengers of Burjuman station for the two lines reached Red and green 12.76 million, while the number of passengers of the Union Station reached 10.6 million passengers, and on the red line the Raqqa station recorded the largest number of passengers, with a total of 9.64 million passengers, followed by the Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall station with 7.89 million passengers, Then Dubai Multi Commodities Center station with 7.77 million passengers, Mall of the Emirates station 7.55 million passengers, and m Plan Deira City Center 7.42 million passengers. Al Tayer emphasized that the increase in the percentage of trips that are by mass transportation and joint transportation means from less than 6% in 2006 to 18.1% in 2019, with a cumulative annual increase of about 8.86% annually.
