“Arslanov in the period from October to December 2019, without objective evidence, simulated an exacerbation of diseases and repeatedly initiated the extension of his stay in hospital treatment in order to evade participation in investigative actions,” Interfax quotes the investigator.

According to him, Arslanov puts pressure on his subordinates, “creates an atmosphere of intimidation and fear, makes threats up to dismissal if they testify.”

Earlier, the investigation stated that the defendant threatened the witness with physical violence for testifying against him.

The general is charged with fraud with the state contract for the repair of military equipment. He does not admit his guilt.
