“Since 2010, it was possible to reduce the number of deaths in road accidents by almost half,” the Moscow News Agency quoted the words of Artur Shahbazyan, deputy head of the data center.
At the same time, he reported on the growth in 2019 of the number of victims of road accidents with motor vehicles, taxis, car sharing, as well as with the participation of children.
“Last year, four motorcyclists died more than a year ago, and the number of fatalities in a road accident with a taxi increased by seven people,” Shahbazyan explained.
At the same time, according to him, three quarters of all accidents with means of individual mobility, for example, scooters, occurred with minors.
In December, Moscow Region reported a decrease in mortality in road accidents by 14% in 2019.
