06 February 2020The lifeless bodies of a man and a woman of about 30 years of age were found by the carabinieri in an accommodation in Piossasco, in the Turin area. They were one above the other and presented with stab wounds. Last night 112 cries for help from the apartment were reported and intervention by the military and firefighters was triggered. The first investigators' findings tend to hypothesize a murder / suicide, at the height of a dispute.


The victims are a 39 year old born in Denmark and a 32 year old wife of Russian origin. The two had been married for 5 years. The carabinieri intervened following a call that signaled cries from the couple's apartment. When the military arrived on site without hearing any noise, they called the firefighters to open the door. Once inside they discovered the two bodies. From a first reconstruction the man would have killed the woman and then he would have killed himself with the same knife.
