He said that “this year Russia pledged to deliver 24 million tons of oil to Belarus - 2 million each month,” at the intergovernmental level, while, according to him, “500 thousand were delivered in January - one quarter.”

According to Lukashenko, disagreements on energy issues with Russia have been emerging regularly for 13 years, despite mutual obligations.

“Although, when they were signed, we were given firm guarantees,” BelTA quotes Lukashenko.

During the meeting on ensuring the efficient operation of the country's fuel and energy complex, Lukashenko asked to report “what has been done so that Russia fulfills its obligations”.

Earlier, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak called the issue of oil supplies to Belarus exclusively commercial.
