"The situation was difficult and unfair, I had done nothing wrong." The day after his acquittal by the Senate after a trial in historic dismissal, Donald Trump spoke, Thursday, February 6, from the White House on this subject.

The American president denounced the "wickedness" of his democratic opponents during his speech. And to explain: "This witch hunt never stopped (for) 3 years (...). There were liars, whistleblowers, it's something that should never have happened to a President."

Donald Trump then declared "Here is the result" while brandishing, to the applause of the assembly, the front page of the Wahington Post titling "Trump acquitted".

The President also returned to the charges of Russian interference in the United States as well as the report - which did not provide evidence of collusion between the Trump team and Moscow. "There were people in front of us with false records (...), it was something difficult to cross. We ended up getting out of these plots," he said.
