The Food Market is too happy to team up with Mr Zhao and La Taverne de Zhao to celebrate the Chinese New Year and go on a journey to discover all the cuisines of China! In the common goal of feasting you by restoring the coat of arms of Chinese gastronomy still too little known, the Food Market team will gather this evening the most visible addresses of the capital and the little boui-boui that you probably do not have still tasted. Every first Thursday of the month, the Cox in partnership with P-Arty invites a visual artist to speak live on its walls to create a new and ephemeral work. For this fourth session, make way for FullMano! You have certainly seen these creations on several occasions at COX. FullMano uses manual sewing in its multiple forms (cross stitch, stitch stitch, loose stitching, etc.) on supports not dedicated to this technique (we are anything but fabric) to produce works. Embroidery on paper, tapestries, vinyl records, plastic bags, digital prints ... The "thread" as the main medium of expression and representation. Opening of Seth's "Playtime" exhibition

Finally, the opening of the third solo exhibition by artist Seth, entitled "Playtime", which will take place this Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Galerie Itinerrance from 6 to 9 p.m. For this exhibition, Seth reinterprets some of his creations painted all over the world and tells us about the child who lies dormant in each of us. As he likes to say, his paintings are "doors that open onto imaginary worlds". They invite us to an introspection which will make us see, for a moment, the extent of our inner wealth. We find there the recurring themes of Seth, his love for books, the toy as an escape tool, or even nostalgia for a world that is disappearing. The vortex often remains present, everyone can see what they want: the passage to another dimension, the reflection of the imaginary or even a representation of the different degrees of consciousness. It embodies the richness of an interior universe which floods space, carries it towards a new world, like the burrow of the rabbit of Alice in the wonderland.
