“From a legal point of view, there is no doubt that there can be no recognition (of North Korea as a nuclear power. - RT),” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

In his view, such a move would weaken international standards.

“And any violation of this kind will be incredibly bad. They left the NPT to create nuclear weapons. This is very clear, ”said the IAEA Director General.
