"This government is now rejected by Parliament by a large margin," said Marcel Ciolacu, who heads the opposition Social Democratic Party and who led the attempts to oust the government.
According to Parliament, 261 out of 465 members voted for a distrust. Thus, the 233 votes required were reached.
