- Gijón: Police look for the dead woman's former partner
The National Police has arrested this Wednesday the former couple of the 41-year-old woman whose body was found Monday with wounded guns in her apartment in Gijón as the main suspect in the crime, the Gijón police station reported.
The woman's body, who lived alone, was found late Monday in her apartment in the Gijon neighborhood of La Calzada after the cleaning company she worked for noticed her absence.
Although the Police kept several lines of investigation open, the investigators had set as a top priority the arrest of the former couple as the main suspect.
The woman, Lorena DF , had not filed a previous complaint, but her former partner, with whom she had a relationship for several years, does have three previous complaints of gender violence by three different women.
