Said Chabane, who had been in police custody since Wednesday morning, "was placed under judicial supervision with a ban on entering into contact with the victims and the main witnesses," said Eric Bouillard, adding that a fourth woman had lodged a complaint Wednesday against Saïd Chabane. "Mr. Chabane continues to deny the facts," said the magistrate.

A fourth complaint

The president of the club is indicted for sexual assault by "a person who has abused the authority conferred on him by his office", according to the prosecutor. The four complainants were between 20 and 25 years old at the time of the events, which spanned from 2014 to 2019, said Eric Bouillard.

Three women had initially filed a complaint and then a fourth, already identified by the investigators, "confirmed her complaint" on Wednesday, according to the same source.
