Launched in January 2020, the Monthly is the brand new spoken magazine of the Center Pompidou, devoted each month to the news of artistic disciplines and their meeting with the challenges of the present. In this second session, the Monthly will take place at the crossroads of the Hors-Pistes festival and the exhibition "Calais: Witnessing the jungle" to ask a question: how to think together of the multiple ways in which, today, the situation of is migrant people brought to the picture? What coexistence, what echoes or what rivalries settle between the eyes of artists, that of photo-reporters and press agencies, even that of refugees and inhabitants? From cinema to contemporary art, how do you find a fair look to show the condition of those who flee, pass, stop and try to leave?
