A large highway bus from Los Angeles to San Francisco was shot at 1:30 am local time yesterday (three days), killing one person and wounding five others.
Witnesses say a gunman fired a gun on a bus with 43 people on board.
The deaths were identified as women in their fifties from Colombia, two of whom were seriously injured.
Local police say the suspect is currently in detention and boarded a bus in Los Angeles but the destination is unclear and the motive is unknown at this time.
