Still in shape: Sony's "Bad Boys", along with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, kept the head of the North American box office this weekend, according to final figures published Monday by the specialized company Exhibitor Relations.

The last day of the week was overshadowed by the Super Bowl, the final of the American football championship, during which cinemas are generally empty.

"Bad Boys for Life", the third installment of the famous police saga, still collected $ 17.7 million from Friday to Sunday in Canada and the United States (148 million in three weeks), thanks to the valves well felt between the two accomplices Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

"1917", a war film by Sam Mendes, was second with $ 9.5 million (119 million in six weeks). He is one of the favorites for the Oscars with ten nominations.

In third place is "Dolittle", the story of this doctor capable of communicating with animals embodied in this version by Robert Downey Jr, with 7.6 million (55.1 million in three weeks).

Fourth, the new horror film "Gretel and Hansel", a rereading of the tale of the brothers Grimm, collects $ 6.1 million for its release while "Jumanji: Next Level", third episode of the series, completes the podium with 6 million (291.2 million in eight weeks).

Here's the rest of the Top 10:

6 - "The Gentlemen" (5.6 million, 20 million in two weeks)

7 - "Star Wars: The Ascension of Skywalker" (3.2 million, 507 million in seven weeks)
