The press release fell at midday. The Islamic State propaganda organ claimed responsibility on Monday (February 3rd) for a terrorist knife attack in London on Sunday. Three people were injured and the suspect was killed by the police.

"The assailant in the Streatham district of south London yesterday (Sunday) is among the fighters of the Islamic State," the organization said in a statement. "He led the attack in response to calls to target nationals from countries of the international" anti-Jihadist coalition, "said the statement shared on the Telegram channels of the jihadist group.

Shortly after the attack, British police said they were "terrorist" and "Islamist in nature".

However, no evidence has been adduced by the terrorist group, which is suspected of publishing "opportunistic" claims after certain attacks by isolated individuals.
