Members of the special committee will start examining the text of the pension reform, article by article, from 4 p.m. on Monday. They will also have to deal with the 22,000 amendments tabled by the opposition. A record for this legislature. Objective assumed by some: to wage a real parliamentary battle to slow down as much as possible the adoption of the reform.

19,000 amendments alone: the 17 Insoumis deputies (LFI) assume it, they make parliamentary obstruction to express their disagreement. With the socialists and the communists , they also agreed to table a motion of censure. Censorship motion that the National Rally could vote. The Communist Party will even ask that the text be submitted to a referendum.

On the right-hand side, it is the ordinances provided for in the text - not less than 29 - which make leap, as well as the holding of the financing conference at the same time as the examination of the text in the Assembly. The Republicans , who are for a pension reform but not this one, have tabled a thousand amendments, and will content themselves with voting on certain articles. They have not yet adopted a position on the overall vote on the law.

In these conditions, it is difficult to see how the text could pass before the municipal elections , the National Assembly suspending its work on March 6 due to elections. Some brandish the threat of 49.3. This option, which makes it possible to shorten debates and have a law passed without a vote, does not currently favor the government.
